I love it when someone decides they are not too old to learn some new tricks. In this case Heather wanted to take up a new hobby i.e. that of wood turning. She decided a milking stool would be the vehicle that would drive her learning. And a mighty fine piece it is too.

The latest 'Custom Made' project has been delivered; the Waka for Glendowie Kindergarten, a treasured piece of playground equipment built for imaginative play. This is the first stage with blank prow and bow pieces which will be carved after further local discussion.

Our first term comes to an end with plenty of skill and tenacity shown. It has been a privilege to work alongside such enthusiasm for using real tools and equipment.
