Design and make your own night light. Something to provide just enough light to see objects in the room but not enough to disturb your sleep.
Express your creativity by producing a unique design based on safe LEDs.

Spending time in a workshop is always of benefit, whatever age you are. For children, these workshops are a chance to handle real tools and equipment, learn to do so safely and come away with a tangible product to be proud of. For those who already have a passion for making things, each of these days will be an opportunity to master new techniques and machinery with expert guidance. Come alone or with a friend and be assured that you will leave with a new view of your own abilities.

COVID requirements

COVID related safety requirements…under RED

I declare that I am double vaccinated but recognise that this is a personal choice. I do require proof of vaccine status from adults or children for any of my workshops.
Parents should complete the sign-up form in advance and return via email. On arrival parents are expected to
• scan the COVID sign using their app
• drop and pick up children without entering the workshop.
Numbers are limited to ensure safety and quality contact time. Low numbers will help maintain social distance but cannot be guaranteed. I will be in close contact with children to ensure safety with all rotating machinery and some hand tools.
Face masks are not expected; I will not be wearing a mask given the challenges I face wearing glasses.
Children will wash or sanitise their hands upon arrival and leaving.
The workshop will be cleaned between user groups.
