‘Make your own’ Simple Rolling Vehicle Wed. 13th July’22
Toy cars and vehicles provide a rich fun source of entertainment, while building motor, cognitive, and social skills at the same time. They give children an opportunity to use their imagination and create their own adventures – as they pretend to drive, sail, fly, or move around their environment.
Join us if you value the calming affect wooden toys have on your psyche …. or just want to go broooom broom.
This holiday programme is for those who love to make things. It’s for children who like using real tools, appreciate sawdust and enjoy getting just a little bit dirty. Choose one or more workshops from the schedule.
All workshops start at 9:30am and finish at 2:30pm; bring your own lunch and morning tea
These workshops are for primary and intermediate aged children.
THIS WORKSHOP IS FULLY BOOKED
NOTE THAT A SESSION MAY NOT RUN IF INSUFFICIENT RESPONSE IS RECEIVED. IN THAT CASE YOU WILL BE OFFERED ANOTHER DAY OR A FULL REFUND
Spending time in a workshop is always of benefit, whatever age you are. For children, these workshops are a chance to handle real tools and equipment, learn to do so safely and come away with a tangible product to be proud of. For those who already have a passion for making things, each of these days will be an opportunity to master new techniques and machinery with expert guidance. Come alone or with a friend and be assured that you will leave with a new view of your own abilities.
PLEASE READ ‘ADDITIONAL INFORMATION’ above RE COVID
COVID related safety requirements…under ORANGE
I declare that I am treble vaccinated but recognise that this is a personal choice. I do not require proof of vaccine status from adults or children for any of my workshops.
Faces masks are optional.
Parents should complete the sign-up form in advance and return via email. On arrival parents are expected to drop and pick up children without entering the workshop.
Numbers are limited to ensure safety and quality contact time. Low numbers will help maintain social distance but cannot be guaranteed. I will be in close contact with children to ensure safety with all rotating machinery and some hand tools.
Children will wash or sanitise their hands upon arrival and leaving.
The workshop will be cleaned between user groups
Please stay home if you or your child does not feel well.
