Holiday Program
‘Fun in the Workshop’ is a school holiday programme in Mangawhai that lets kids tackle their own woodworking projects under close supervision of a skilled woodworker and educator – Stephen Mackay.
These workshops are for primary and intermediate aged children. The mix of workshops varies each holiday providing real opportunities to exercise creative skills.

After School Club
Our after-school club remains an opportunity for children to get their hands on real tools and equipment under safe guidance and instruction from an experienced and qualified teacher.
Children are encouraged to take on a personal project that will guide and steer their learning.
It runs throughout the term, three days a week.

Private Lessons
My Private Lessons allow for one-on-one or small group tuition for those wishing to develop their craft skills. Children of all ages are welcome.
I am an experienced, secondary trained, Design & Technology Teacher with a wide range of special needs experience. My industrial experience gives me an edge in knowing how to make things and engage our tamariki.
