The sword is more than just a weapon; it is deeply rooted in magic, myth and legend. Whether that be the story of King Arthur pulling the sword Excalibur from the rock to announce his nobility, or the flaming sword mentioned in the Bible and other legends, the sword is firmly placed in the old stories that teach us lessons about life. Let your child’s imagination create something to draw upon their honour and allow them to explore the battles of right and wrong.
Young woodworkers may choose from several simple patterns; older participants can create their own design.

This holiday programme is for those who love to make things. It’s for children who like using real tools, appreciate sawdust and enjoy getting just a little bit dirty. Choose one or more workshops from the schedule.

All workshops start at 9:30am and finish at 2:30pm; bring your own lunch and morning tea

These workshops are for primary and intermediate-aged children. Numbers are limited to ensure quality contact time and safety.

• Most workshops are for primary and intermediate-aged children unless explicitly stated as ‘Adult’.
• Payment for all workshops must be made in advance.
• Payment made by bank transfer must be complete two days prior to any workshop.
• Full refunds will apply up 24hrs before a workshop. No refund will be made thereafter.
• Some workshops may not run if insufficient response is received. In that case you will be offered another day or a full refund.
